Migrant worker Dong Zi (Shi Yu) toils as a coolie, while his friend Gao Ping (Guo Tao) gets by on petty crime. After getting cheated of some money, Gao Ping abducts and woos Vietnamese club singer Ruan Hong (Wang Tong), who knows the culprit. Everything goes violently wrong when Gao Ping crosses an underworld boss in his quest to recover his money.
